Serie di mattoni traforati danneggiati in fase precedente alla cottura tramite un piede di porco. I mattoni vengono nuovamente cotti e in terza cottura dorati e composti in una sorta di piccola costruzione che contiene al suo interno il piede di porco. Riflessione sull’identità falsata dell’oggetto che nel suo ossimoro contiene una doppia lettura, presente sempre il concetto di “forza” che in questo caso è addirittura esemplificata da un oggetto che nell’immaginario collettivo è associato alla violazione, violazione di un bene privato, dell’intimità, simbolo dell’effrazione bieca e rapace.

Casa Museo Jorn, Albissola
Series of perforated bricks damaged with a crowbar before firing. The bricks are fired again and then gilt and arranged in a sort of small construction containing the crowbar during the third firing. It is a reflection on the distorted identity of the object, which, in its oxymoron, comprises a double interpretation in which the concept of “force” is always present. In this case, it is even exemplified by an object, which in collective imagination is associated with violation and with the breach of a private property and of intimacy. It is the symbol of a sinister and predatory break-in.
